Evelyn J (Conn) Youngs

Evelyn J. (Conn) Youngs, age 89, of North East, passed away on Sunday May 28, 2023 at her residence. She was born on July 17, 1933 in Erie, PA the daughter of the late Ralph and Bessie (Yost) Conn. Evelyn was formerly employed by Kline Elementary School in the cafeteria and was a waitress at the White Diner in North East. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Youngs; son, Don Youngs; and brother, Ron Conn. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Larry Youngs (Dawn) and Gary Youngs (Connie); brothers, Albert Conn (Doris), Neal Conn (Nadene), and Eugene Conn (Jeanee) all of North East; grandchildren, Nikole, Nickolus, Jasmine, Gary, Julie, Kristen, and Sarah; and 12 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Community Nursing Service of North East, Hospice, 7 Park Street, North East, PA 16428.
