Elma (Sewell) Spacht

Elma (Sewell) Spacht, age 83, of South Ripley, passed away on Friday February 3, 2023 at her residence. She was born on May 28, 1939 the daughter of the late Ralph W and Letah L. (Potter) Sewell. Elma graduated Harborcreek High School in 1957. She was formerly employed by American Sterilizer (15 years) and Chautauqua County (20 years) as a data entry operator for both. Elma was a former Cub Scout den leader and was a member of the Stargazers camping club, Lawrence Park Garden Club, and Nation Campers and Hikers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Spacht Sr. and brother, Howard G. Sewell. Elma is survived by her son, Ronald J. Spacht Jr. (Pamela) of Landisburg, PA; and grandson, Ryan; son, Robert "Bob" Spacht (Jamie) of Sherman; and grandson, Jonathan. A brother-in-law, William Spacht of South Ripley and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service is Rev. Rick Maas.
