Dorothy E. Sveda, 82, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 57 years, Albin Sveda, whom she married on June 25, 1960, her granddaughter, Amanda, her three sisters, and her brother.
She was born on May 14, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Albert and Coletta (Altmeyer) Muhl. She is survived by her brother, Albert Muhl, Jr., her children, Michael (Lori) and Diane, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Dorothy had a strong faith in the Lord and faithfully prayed for everyone. She had a kind, compassionate, and very loving heart as well as a wonderful joy for life. Dorothy also had a beautiful smile, a kindhearted sense of humor, and a contagious laugh. All of these beautiful character traits are her living legacy to all who were blessed to know her, even for the briefest amount of time. Dorothy cherished spending time laughing with and making wonderful memories with her family and friends. Our precious mother, grandmother, and dearest friend will be so deeply missed.
