Donald George Campbell

Donald George Campbell, 82, of North East, passed away on Saturday December 20, 2025 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on January 16, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Samuel George and Ruth Ann (Loos) Campbell.

Donald graduated from Grove City College where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Education and obtained his Master's Degree at West Virginia University in Guidance Counseling.

He was employed as a school guidance counselor for the Wilkinsburg School District for 35 years until his retirement.

Donald and Margaret moved to North East in 2023 to be close to their grandchildren. 

Donald was a member of St. Gregory Thamaturgus Church, St. Andrews Society in Pittsburgh, and the Gem City Gun Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Campbell Boyd.

Donald is survived by his wife Margaret Moeller Campbell; son, Scott Campbell (Lee Anne) of Wattsburg; and grandchildren, Mallory, Maxwell, and Melanie Campbell.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Gregory Church, 50 South Pearl Street, North East on Friday January 2nd at 12 pm. Private interment at St. Gregory Cemetery.
