Donald L Brown

Donald L. Brown, 77, of North East, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at LECOM Village Square. He was born on March 5, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of the late Harold J. and Ada (Aman) Brown. After graduating High School, Donald served in the United States Coast Guard. He was formerly employed by General Electric as a machinist for 20 years and was a very active member of the Greenfield Fire Department. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. Donald is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Joanne (Boyd) Brown of North East; children, WM Dalrymple (Kathy) of Erie, Ret Dalrymple of North East, and Robert Dalrymple (Sue) of North East; grandchildren, William, Jenny, Cody, Jared, David, and Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Ryeleigh, Zane, Hannah, Dylan, Braelynn, Oliver, Mason, Ian, and Ava; and great-great-grandchildren, Paris and Jaxson. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the Community Nursing Services of North East, and Greenfield, Crescent, and Fuller Fire Departments for there care, compassion, and professionalism throughout Don’s illness. Friends may call at the William D.
