Dixie (Wright) Bohigian

Dixie (Wright) Bohigian, age 85, of North East, passed away on Thursday August 12, 2021 at LECOM Senior Living.  She was born on August 7, 1936 to the late Jay and Hazel Osborne Wright Ramsdell.  Dixie graduated North East High School in 1954 and was formerly employed as a clerk at G.C. Murphy for 31 years.  She enjoyed spending time with friends, the North East Senior Center, walking, painting, arts and crafts, and playing her Wurlitzer Organ.  Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Bohigian.  She is survived by her close friend Dennis Priester; numerous cousins, and friends.  Private funeral arrangements are being handled by the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East.  Private interment will be held at North East Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the North East Senior Center.  Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
