Dennis L Drab

Dennis L. Drab, age 79, of North East, passed away on Monday February 19, 2024 at LECOM Senior Living Center.

He was born on February 14, 1945 in Springdale, Pennsylvania to the late Henry J. and Elizabeth (Ash) Drab.

Dennis graduated Springdale High School and William Penn College.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy.

Dennis was formerly employed by General Electric as an electrician for several years.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in North East; the North East V.F.W. Post 4789; Perry-Keystone F&AM Lodge #392 and the Scottish Rite.

Dennis enjoyed golf, classic cars, NASCAR, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra (Cook) Drab whom he married on May 9, 1970; sons, Jason Drab (Heather) of NC, Justin Drab (Emily) of NC, Joshua Drab (Kristen) of NC, Jamison Drab (Megan) of North East; brothers, David F. Drab of Wexford, PA and Daniel J. Drab of Erie; grandchildren, Ella, Wesley, Penelope, Saxton, Meyers, and Callahan.

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service at the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the service is Rev. Gregg Townsend. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery will Full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 25 West Main Street, North East, PA 16428.
