Daysia Lee Thomas

Daysia Lee Thomas, age 24, of North East, died on Friday, July 30, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on May 14, 1997 in Erie, Pennsylvania the daughter of Raymond Lee Thomas Sr. and Gloria (Beatty) Schultz. Daysia was employed by the Holiday Inn Express in North East and formerly worked at Walmart. She always had a smile and enjoyed laughing with her family and friends. Daysia was preceded in death by her baby daughter, Khyrie Adasanya Lee (Friday, July 30, 2021) and her stepbrother, David Ferguson. She is survived by her parents; boyfriend, Lawrence Lee of North East; stepfather, Thomas Schultz of North East; children, Zachary Thomas of North East, Nikita Austin of Ohio, Shado Austin of Ohio, and Shaizer Lee of North East; brothers, Raymond Lee Thomas Jr. of Jamestown, N.Y., Kenneth Samec, Russell Samec, Kyle Samec, and Josh Lencki of North East; sisters April Lencki of North East, Lywanda Thomas of Buffalo, N.Y., and Joyce Thomas of Erie. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service is Rev. David Kuchta. Interment will be held at Grahamville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
