Daniel (Dino) Licata, age 39, of Erie, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023. He was born on April 24, 1984, in Erie, PA to Frank Licata and Connie (Mason) Licata. He lived in North East and attended St. Gregory’s School and graduated from North East High School. After high school, Dino traveled to Jamaica and looked forward to more travels. He worked at the YMCA for several years and was employee of the year in 2015.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Licata in 2019. Dino is survived by his parents, his maternal grandmother, Joan Mason; his brother Michael Licata (Leah) and his niece, Tatum Licata-Manning.
Dino was a generous, kind man with a heart of gold. He was loyal and loving and would help anyone he could. He was passionate about music and collected vinyl albums. Dino was a sharp-dressed man, a great conversationalist and was a history buff.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family. If you knew Dino, you know that he wore his heart on his sleeve and found the best in others. He made you feel welcomed, loved, and important.
Dino will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.
