Daniel E Smith

Daniel E. Smith, age 43, of North East, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2024 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on October 2, 1981 in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania to Ronald and Marsha (Grove) Smith of Martinsburg, PA.

Dan graduated Central High School in Martinsburg, PA and was a grape farmer at Burnham Family Farms in North East.

He was a member of Orchard Beach Assembly and the Horticultural Society.

Dan enjoyed watching his sons play sports, grape farming, hunting, smoking foods, and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

He is survived by his parents; wife of 20 years, Allison (Burnham) Smith whom he married June 12, 2004; sons, Korbin and Parker Smith; sisters, Barbara Woodring (Daniel), Heidi Malinowski (Matt), and Taylor Kinnear (Josh); father and mother-in-law, Rick and Donna Burnham; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Sunday October 6th from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Orchard Beach Assembly, 2025 Orchard Beach Road, North East.
