Dale B Peelman

Dale B. Peelman, 65, of North East passed away on Sunday February 1, 2026 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on February 9, 1960 in Erie, PA to the late Grace (Laser) Peelman.

Dale was employed by the City of Erie for 36 years. He retired as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Department of Public Works, Property and Parks. He was proud to have spent his career serving his community.

He loved spending time with his wife and extended family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and in his retirement to become a "farmer" raising chickens and rabbits. He loved all animals and was known as " the chicken whisperer".

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Jesse Galloway.

He is survived by the love of his life, Sarah C. (Mong) Peelman whom he waited 59 years to find and then marry on March 3, 2019; stepson, Bryan Corle (Emily); granddaughter, Elora; his many nieces and nephews (especially Molly and Henry); extended family and many, many friends.
