Cynthia Karlheim Corbin, age 67, of North East, passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on June 6, 1954 in Erie, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Clotilda "Tillie" (Kline) Karlheim.  Cindy graduated North East High School and was formerly employed by Welch Foods, Better Baked Foods, and Bay Valley Foods.  She was a member of St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church in North East.  Cindy loved spending time with her...

Cynthia Karlheim Corbin, age 67, of North East, passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on June 6, 1954 in Erie, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Clotilda "Tillie" (Kline) Karlheim.  Cindy graduated North East High School and was formerly employed by Welch Foods, Better Baked Foods, and Bay Valley Foods.  She was a member of St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church in North East.  Cindy loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and enjoyed gardening and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Cavaliers fan.  She is survived by her sister, Patricia Nguyen (Paul); niece, Brittany Nguyen; nephews, Michael Nguyen (Kari) and Ryan Nguyen; great nieces, Nora and Lily; and companion and best friend, John Thomas.  The family wishes to acknowledge  the Community Nursing Services of North East for the professional care and compassion of Cindy's care throughout her illness, especially Ashley, Scott, Julie and gratitude to Rose Marie Hall for her loving care.  Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Monday 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Church, 50 South Pearl Street, North East.  Interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Community Nursing Services of North East, 7 Park Street, North East, PA 16428 or the American Cancer Society, 1128 State Street, Suite 300 Erie, PA 16501.
