Craig W. Kinney, Sr., 91, of Findley Lake, passed away on Thursday December 18, 2025 at Sarah Reed Living Center.
He was born on May 10, 1934 in Spartansburg, Pennsylvania to the late Donald V. and Georgia M. (Smith) Kinney.
Craig graduated Spartansburg High School and attended Behrend College where he met his wife Peggy (Lamb) Kinney whom he married on June 25, 1955.
He was a self-employed dairy farmer and was employed by Chautauqua County Patrons Insurance Agency and served as the District Justice for Mina for 50 years.
Craig loved his vacations on the Outer Banks with his family and enjoyed making maple syrup, 4-wheeling, horses, and his scottie dogs, Molly and Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Craig W. Kinney, Jr.; grandson, Craig E. Kinney; sisters, Eileen Rogers and Maxine Harrison; and brother, Donald D. Kinney.
Craig is survived by his daughters, Brenda Mandic (Anton) of Findley Lake and Deanna Fuller of Jamestown; son, Matthew Kinney (Jill) of Findley Lake; daughter-in-law, Marguerite Timko-Kinney of Erie; grandchildren, Lindsay, Joshua, Taylor, Kathryn, Cody, Christian, Declan, and Teaghan; great-grandchildren, Harper, Rowan, Caiden, Liliana, Valerie, and Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Private interment will be held at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
