Cindy L (Palmer) Riedel

Cindy L. (Palmer) Riedel, age 65, of North East, peacefully passed away at her home on Wednesday November 6, 2024 watched over by her beloved husband.

She was born on May 5, 1959 in Corry, Pennsylvania to Paul Palmer of Corry and Betty (Slater) Fry of Westfield.

Cindy graduated from North East High School in 1976 and was formerly employed by H&R Block, Erie Insurance, and Roberts Trucking.

She loved quilting, camping, and bingo but her legacy is as a Mother. Not only to her own children but to the foster children she loved and so many others that she took underwing. Cindy's life is proof that a family is made by love not blood.

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandson Noah Schroder.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Bob Riedel whom she married July 16, 1977; son, Timothy Riedel; daughters; Bobbi Jo Morey (Jeremy), Billi Jo Lombardo (Joseph), Britni Jo Burlingham (Merle), and Angela Hoopsick (Michael); grandchildren; Joshua, Jonathan, and Joel Morey, Madelynn Lombardo, James and Aliyah Burlingham, Michael and Aiden Hoopsick and Charlotte Schroder; sisters, Lois Mitchum, Patricia Throop (Chuck), and Joan Hart; brother, Richard Palmer; and several nieces and nephews.
