Christian D Hunt

Christian D. Hunt, age 28, of North East and Michigan, passed away tragically on Saturday September 14, 2024 in Sunfield Michigan.

He was born on January 19, 1996 in Rockville, Maryland to David and Cathrine Hunt of North East.

Chris grew-up in North East and graduated from North East High School in 2013.

 He was a hard worker and was employed by Kwik Fill, Sanders, Bay Valley, Shyft Group, and MacLellan Integrated Services.

Chris was a fun loving soul who enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hanging out by campfires, and playing with pets Leela (Goober) and Rooster. He also liked motor sports and online activities Steam, Discord, and PC building.

He was fascinated with Japanese culture, studied Japanese language, and traveled to Japan in 2019. 

Chris had a unique sense of humor that would put smiles on his friends and family's faces.

He had few friends, but they were the best of friends. His inner circle included: Dakota (Cody) Bronner, Jordan Best, Brandon and John Chizewick, Brandon (Gonzalo) Wisniewski and Daniel Blozvich.

In 2022 Chris moved to Sunfield Michigan to start a new life with his best friend Cody Bronner and Amy Speer. He had plenty of room to ride his motor bike and ATV. He was a kindhearted man who left us too soon. Chris will be sadly missed by everyone who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rita Cook, Charles Hunt, and Rodrick and Barbara O'Neil; uncles, Wayne Babcock, Rodrick O'Neil, and Edmund O'Neil; and aunt, Barbara Girolami.

Chris is survived by his parents David and Catherine Hunt; brother, Alexander Hunt; grandparent, Donna Hunt; aunts, Susan Babcock, Evonne Hunt, Karen Hunt, Debbie Hunt, Carolyn O'Neil, and Adri O'Neil; and uncles, Paul Girolami, Daniel Hunt, and Greg O'Neil.

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street North East on Friday October 18th at 2:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Officiating the service is Fr.
