Carol (Kozloski) Mellin, age 82, of Ripley, NY, passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2025 at UPMC Hamot.
She was born on September 11, 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Gilbert and Doris Lucille (Crabb) Kozloski.
Carol graduated from North East High School in 1960 and worked at Better Baked Foods in the office for over 30 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, hunting, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ken Anderson; and sister, Dorothy Francis.
She is survived by her children, Steven Wilt of Harborcreek, Shannon Wilt of Harborcreek, Chandra (Casten) Hannold of Sherman, NY, and Megan Mellin of North East; grandchildren, Nicholas, Kimberly, Jennifer, Melissa, Alexa, Timothy, Cadi, Emily, Maddison, and Trenton; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Kay Dumond of FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Monday February 17th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service is Pastor Dave Turner. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the South Ripley Fire Department, 10268 NE Sherman Rd, Ripley, NY 14775.
