Carl Boyd Rizzo

Carl Boyd Rizzo, 63, of North East, PA passed away on Monday September 4, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on September 13, 1959 in Erie, PA to Carl R. and Patricia A. (Locke) Rizzo of North East. Carl graduated from North East High School in 1977 where he was on the North East wrestling and football teams. He was owner and operator of Rizzo builders in North East for many years. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He is survived by his parents; sons, Carl Rizzo of North East, Anthony Rizzo (Victoria) of Wesleyville, and Paul Rizzo of Lilydale, NY; sisters, Donna Weinheimer of North East, Denise Rizzo of Harrisburg, PA, and Deanna Prichard (Tom) of Erie; a grandson, Anthony Rizzo, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church, 50 South Pearl Street, North East.
