Brent S Crandall

Brent S. Crandall, 53, of North East, PA passed from this life into heaven surrounded by his loving family on December 28th after a long and courageous battle with Cholangiocarcinoma cancer. A devoted husband and father, Brent loved his family with all his heart and made them his number one priority all of his days. 

Brent will long be remembered for his keen sense of humor, his sharp mind, the fun he was to be around and his extensive knowledge of all trades. His integrity and loyalty were second to none; as was his mental strength to persevere.Brent enjoyed dirt track racing, Nascar, working on cars, relaxing on the back patio, vacations, cruises and camping.

Brent leaves to cherish his memory,his high school sweetheart and forever love, wife of 34 years Carol (Bartlett) Crandall,The three best children a parent could ever ask for - Ben (Courtney) Crandall, Nick (Emma) Crandall, and Olivia (Jarod) Gianoni, his father Harold Bud (Eileen) Crandall, his mother Mary (Bob) Wiler, brothers Brad (Jodie) Crandall, Buddy (Dawn) Crandall, stepsister Heather (Guy) Amendola, stepbrother Kevin Postler, sister-in-laws Deb (Barry) Nuhfer, and Kim (Glenn) Renner, brother- in- laws Norm (Brenda) Bartlett and Randy (Ellen) Bartlett along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather Robert (Bob) Wiler, and father and mother-in-law Norm and Jane Bartlett.

He was the maintenance trade supervisor for Penn State Behrend for the past 12+ years and was a 30+ year proud member of IBEW Local 56. He was a longtime member of Greenfield Baptist Church where he served on the trustee board for many years. Brent was a dirt track race car driver competing in the Super Sportsman and Pro Stock Division at Eriez Speedway and Stateline Speedway for the past 24 years.

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Sunday December 31st at 2:00 p.m. at the Greenfield Baptist Church, 9028 Williams Road, North East.
