Beatrice Fern Odell

On Friday, September 23, 2022 Beatrice Fern (Post) Odell, age 97, of Ripley, New York went to be with her Lord and Savior in her Heavenly Home. She was born on December 12, 1924 in North East, PA, the daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Fern (Chesley) Post. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Vincent Odell; grandson, Tylor Lee Abbey; brothers, Clarence Post and Lester Post; and a sister, Shirley Podlasek. She is survived by her children, David Odell (Linda) of Columbus, OH, Michael Odell (Candy) of Columbus, PA, Darryl Odell (Judy) of Columbus, PA, Jonathan Odell (Stephanie) of Panama, NY, Deborah Frasier (Ron) of Glenmoore, PA, Cynthia Abbey (Nathan) of Enola, PA, Dianne Hunt (Martin) of Ripley, NY, Sylvia Marshall (Bruce) of Escondido, CA, Marc Odell (Janice) of Ripley, NY, Paul Odell (Cherrie) of Ripley, NY, Nathan Odell (Jill) of Clymer, NY, Marcia Howser (John) of Ripley, NY, Cassandra Abbey (Travis) of Ripley, NY, and Vanessa Odell of Johnson City, NY; a brother, Lawrence (Carol) Post of Brocton, NY; brother-in-law, Rodney Odell of Springville, NY; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
