Bea was a devout Christian, serving on numerous committees. for the First Baptist Church when living in North East, and Calvary Church in Mathews, NC.

Bea had a real talent for meticulous record keeping, not only for the Bannister household, but also during her career at the National Bank of NE, Stow & Sons, Ins & Cunningham Motor Sales in North East.

Bea was a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Some may remember bowling or golfing with Bea in her younger years in North East or while spending winters in Florida.
