Barbara (Perino) Norman

Barbara Perino Norman, age 78, of North East, passed away on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on September 1, 1945 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Frances Cerami Kamppi and Frank Perino, Sr.

Barbara graduated East High School and Michael's Beauty Academy.

She was a licensed beautician and a home health caregiver for several years.

Barbara was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in North East.

She enjoyed baking, gardening, planting flowers, camping, and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

Barbara was known as "Grammy" and loved to cook for her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to her. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Julie Marie Haskins; granddaughter, Madison Utegg; sister, Mary Ann Jansen; and brother, Frank "Butch" Perino, Jr.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 51 years David Norman whom she married June 11, 1973; sons, James Haskins (Lori) and Timothy Haskins (Hillori); daughters, Sheri Voorhis (Tony) and Lisa  Utegg (Mark); sister, Charlotte Gerdes (Fred); brother, Richard Kamppi (Linda); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Sunday May 19th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at North East Cemetery. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
