Barbara Ann (Gelsie) Lookenhouse

Barbara Ann (Gelsie) Lookenhouse, 63, of Ripley, NY passed away on Friday June 6, 2025 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on August 21, 1961 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late James and Pauline (Pizer) Gelsie.

Barbara graduated from Sherman Central High School and was a teller at Key Bank in North East until retirement. She also formerly served as the North East Township tax collector.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and camping.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cristen Lookenhouse; and brother, Jimmy Gelsie.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years Jerry Lookenhouse whom she married January 7, 1995; son, JJ Lookenhouse; and sisters, Susan Reed (Donny) and Linda McFarlen.
