Barbara (Heinemann) Burch Stebell

Barbara Heinemann Burch Stebell age 86 of Homosassa, Florida left her earthly home for her heavenly home on June 25, 2026.

She previously resided in Loganville Georgia and North East, Pennsylvania. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on September 30, 1939, to the late Alfred and Thelma Dunbar Heinemann.

Barbara was a 1957 graduate of Wesleyville High School.

Barbara lived in several countries overseas while married to her first husband. While she was living in France, she was able to travel to Germany and meet her grandparents and aunts and uncle for the first time. She was a legal secretary at Knox Law Firm from which she retired after 26 years of employment. She was a member of the Grace Bible Church of Homosassa, Florida and a former member of Gracepointe Nazarene Church of Loganville, Georgia and North East Christian Missionary Alliance Church where she was active in the Bible quizzing program as both a coach and quiz master for many years.

Barbara was an avid reader and especially enjoyed Christian historical fiction and mysteries. She also loved playing board games and traveling. She took several cruises, one of the most memorable ones was to the Panama Canal.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her second husband, Francis Stebell and her brothers, William, Donny and her sister Joanne.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Sult, whom she married on November 16, 2019. She is further survived by daughters, Sandra (Charles) Gibson of North East, Pennsylvania, Kimberly (Michael) Adams of Bloomington, Illinois and her son Jeffrey (Celia) Stebell of Loganville, Georgia. Grandchildren, Christopher (Elizabeth) Adams. Charlene (Jason) Barlow, Francine (Nicholas) Faso, Nathaniel (Danielle) Adams, Jeffrey (Claire) Stebell, Jamie (John) Sieczkowski, Benjamin (Erika) Adams, Joshua (Samantha) Stebell and Samantha (Benjamin) Wyland. Great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Titus, Esther, Simon, Luckas, Addilyn, Daniela, Giovanna, Niccolo, Lea, Eleanor, Wyatt, Hannah, Ava, Eloise, Phineas, Ansley and Judah. Barbara is further survived by her sister Gerda Krebs and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street North East, PA on Saturday July 25, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. until time of memorial service at 1:00 P.M. with Barbara’s oldest grandson Christopher Adams officiating.
