Amy Lee (Brady) Cass

Amy Lee (Brady) Cass, age 51, of North East, lost her long battle with mental illness on Friday June 9, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1971 in Erie, PA the daughter of Joe A. and Deborah (Carr) Brady of Harborcreek. 

Amy called Jesus the Lord of her life and was passionate about sharing Him with others in the many ministry opportunities that have presented themselves over the years. Many people have had their faith impacted because she loved them like Jesus. Her heart was to help others, and there was never too big of a sacrifice or a better use of time when it came to the gospel. She shared her faith with anyone who would listen and prayed faithfully for those she loved to come to true faith. Amy kept journals with your name written in it as she prayed for you. Some of you have been prayed for over 30 years. Her biggest joys in life were spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends, they meant everything to her. Amy loved the holidays, family get-togethers, or an evening of therapy around a fire. A few of her guilty pleasures were Tim Horton's coffee, good chocolate, Pringles with dip, and a few episodes of the Office each day. 

Amy is survived by her parents; husband, Pastor Dan Cass; children, Hannah Kim (Yoon) Lumina, Daniel Cass (April) Brookes, and Sarah Hanlin (Neil); brother, Tim Brady and his daughter, Angela; sister, Sarah Howe (Dan) and children, Erin, Abby, and Joey; in-laws, Denny and Georgina Cass; sister-in-law, Roxina Snyder (Mark McGarvey) and children, Cassy Snyder (Eric Weber) and Eric Snyder (Natalya); and brother-in-law, Duane Cass (Kelly). 

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenfield Baptist Church, 9028 Williams Road, North East.
