This was a lady that made all around her smile. I taught her, her first CPR and First Aid course years ago!! We always kid each other about the "p" that is in her last name!!. God Bless the family and friends that got to spend many good and happy years with a Great Lady of God.

I did not know Joyce well but heard about Joyce for years through my relatives. I only visited my Grandmother, Betty Gierke, a few times but in those couple of times I meet Joyce and she had such a wonderful disposition and was super kind to my easily frustrated grandmother. Really the patience of a saint!

Joyce was a godsend to my grandmother and aunt through their worst times. Words can never describe what it means to be a generous person at heart but I believe your mother/grandmother/friend was just that.
Joyce made the world a better place, God Bless her.

What a beautiful, compassionate and kind woman “Grandma Joyce” was. She took wonderful care of both of my children at daycare. In her firm but loving manner, she taught them how to behave and respect others. They’ve never forgotten her nor the love she showed them under her care. My sympathy to her family. I’m sure she is already in heaven.
