Donald Francis Pamula, 73, of Ripley, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 10, 1947 in Erie, Pa., the son of the late Carl and Vivian (Caldwell) Pamula. Donald was employed by Marx Toys, Pepsi, and Van De Kamps as a material handling operator and was a winner in the Pennsylvania forklift decathlon. He was a member of the Ripley Rod and Gun Club. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and photography. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Cheryl Kurkowski and Cathleen Coleman.b Donald is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda (Carris) Pamula; children, Donald Pamula of California, Brian Pamula (Patti) of Edinboro, Sean Pamula (Lisa) of Erie, Jason Pamula (Billie Ann) of Erie, Trevor Wynn (Krista) of Michigan, Colette Carnrike (Shawn) of Sherman, N.Y.; the mother of his children, Joyce Reitz of Erie; brother, Carl Pamula (Beth) of Erie; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Josh Mencer. Private interment will be held at Quincy Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ripley Rod and Gun Club, 9820 Rod and Gun Road, Ripley, NY, 14775, the Chautauqua Hospice, 20 West Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY, 14750 or the Ripley First Baptist Church, 9869 East Side Hill Road, Ripley, NY, 14775.
