Gloria Jean (Kraut) Bahm, age 79, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, at UPMC Hamot. She was born on December 20, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Raymond Thomas and Bertha Mae (Bartlett) Kraut. Jean was formerly employed by the National Bank in North East for 19 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was actively involved with the pre-school program, church choir, and acted as receipts treasurer for the church and pre-school. Jean was a selfless, kind woman who dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed sewing, going to concerts at the Warner Theater with her friends, and spending time with her dear friend Eleanor. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Raymond Kraut, Jr.; and a sister, Sandra Lynn Wright. Jean is survived by her husband of 55 years Robert Charles Bahm, Jr. whom she married October 16, 1965; children, Debbie Karsh (Jeffrey) of Pittsburgh, Robert Bahm III of North East, Steven Bahm (Gretchen) of North East, and Robin Luke (Michael) of Kansas; grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Ryan, Alison, Brendan, Mackenzie, Rhiannon, and Jocelyn; and great-grandchildren Hayleigh, Laurel, and Owen; as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be calling hours at the First Presbyterian Church of North East, 25 W. Main St., from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. The service will be in-person, following Covid guidelines (masks and social distancing) and will also be streamed via Facebook Live on the church Facebook page (https://m.facebook. com/ Officiating the service is Rev. With a heavy heart I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother. You siblings had the best mother ever. Best mom, wife, friend and she will be truly missed. May she Rest In Peace. I will miss her and our chats. She was one of a kind. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ
