Kathleen Elizabeth (Miller) Ford
Kathleen Elizabeth (Miller) Ford, age 60, of Harborcreek, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2019. She was born on February 4, 1958 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Harold "Joe" and Gloria (Graff) Miller. Kathleen graduated from North East High School in 1976 and went on to get her LPN license from_____. A nurse for over 35 years, Kathleen was employed at St. Vincent, Abington Crest, VNA, Dr. Martini, and UPMC Hamot. 
Kathleen was a member of Our Lady of Mercy and St. Gregory Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. 
She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Christopher Scott Ford whom she married October 24, 1986; daughters, Megan Shaffer (Tyler) of Corry and Caitlin Ford (Aaron) of Warren; brother, Tim Miller (Karen) of Rochester, New York; grandchildren, Ryleigh, Rori, Declan, and Keegan; also several nieces and a nephew. 
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. and are invited to attend a prayer service on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Gregory Church. Interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 211 W 38th St, Erie PA 16508.

I always enjoyed speaking with Kathy at the medical offices she was working at that I called on for my sales job and also at Cherry Festival weekend. She will be missed. My thoughts are with Scott, Megan and Caitlin.

Scott,.... Sonja & I extend our condolences & sympathy to you & your family during this difficult time. It is with confidence to say that our creator will only allow us to carry a burden that we can carry. Though difficult as it is, Kathy is now in heaven, burden free. Stay strong.
