Barbara (Ecker) Warner
Barbara (Ecker) Warner, age 71, of North East, died
on Saturday January 12, 2019 at UPMC Hamot. She
was born on February 6, 1947, the daughter of the late
Robert and Ethel (Luce) Ecker.
Barbara graduated Harborcreek
High School and was a bartender at
the Brotherhood of St. Joseph Club
and the North East V.F.W. for several
years. She was an avid Buffalo
Bills fan and enjoyed the casino,
traveling, crocheting, and spending
time with her family.
Barbara was preceded in death by
her husband, Kenneth L. Warner;
son, Michael Timothy Giles; and
step-sons, Kenneth Lee Warner and Steven Warner.
She is survived by her children, Patrick Giles of North
East, Shawn Giles (Adele) of North East, Colleen
Spellman (Mike) of Wattsburg, Cheryl Osborne (Bud)
of North East, Barbie Warner of Florida, Karen Carver
(Ronnie) of Florida, and Thomas Warner of Union
City; sister, Sherry Kehl of McKean; brothers, Robert
Ecker, Jr. of Tionesta, Randy Ecker (Tammy) of Ripley,
Ricky Ecker (Mary) of Ripley, and Richard Ecker
(Mary Lynn) of Erie; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren;
and a great-great grandson.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral
Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Wednesday
from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and are invited to
attend a funeral service on Thursday at 1:00 p.m.
Officiating the service is Rev. Rick Maas. Interment
will be held at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorials
may be made to the American Cancer Society,
Erie Unit, 2115 West 38th Street, Erie, PA 16508. Please

You are all in my thoughts and prayers down here in Baltimore. I will have a Mass said for my cousin Barb at my church. I am glad that I got to see her this past summer when I was up visiting. Rest in Peace, Dear Cousin, until we see each other again. Love, Kevin
