Music by The Piano Brothers

Timothy Eisert, age 64, of Harborcreek died on Monday June 18, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital, after a short illness..

He was born in Erie, PA on July 30, 1953 to the late Jerome and Winifred Evans Eisert.

Tim had previously been employed at  York Seaway Industrial Supply and most recently at Port Erie Plastics.

He was a faithful servant of Our Lady of Mercy from 2nd grade being an alter boy, to being an advisor to alter boys, to music ministry to most currently small faith communities. His journey with small communities brought a passion for being a part of the Santa Claus / St. Nicholas tradition. He would go various places during advent dressed in his red carhart jacket and Santa hat with sprig of holly. He was often mistaken by children as the "real" Santa, but were rewarded with candy canes just the same and told to be good.

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Eisert, Jean Eisert and Sandra Morgan; sister-in-law, Mildred Eisert.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Martha "Marty" Falderoff Eisert , whom he married on August 19, 1972; children, Alessandra (Ali) Hildum (Donald) of North East, Danielle Eisert of Harborcreek, Samantha Eisert-Johnston (Aaron) of Saegertown, Gabriel Eisert of Erie, Nathan Eisert (Sue Sieber) of Millcreek, Veronica Eisert (Adam Yanalunas) of San Diego; siblings, Mary Lou Hopkins of North East, Gerald Eisert of West Virginia, Cherryl Jones of North East, and Patrice Eisert of Erie; grandchildren, Devon, Cheyenne, Wyatt, and Olivia Hildum, Jacinda, Kaia, Trinity, and Zaine Eback; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 837 Bartlett Rd., Harborcreek, PA 16421 on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 and on Saturday 10:00 am until time of a Funeral Mass at 12:30 pm at the church.  Interment Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church or Shriner's Hospital for Children, 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, PA 16505 or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Please send condolences to www.elkinfh.com.

I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Losing someone’s in death is never easy and takes a toll on the whole family. During this stressful time, please, “throw your anxiety on [God], because he cares for you.”-1 Peter 5:7
