Edward (Eddie) Seth Baker, Jr., age 52, of North East died on Friday September 22, 2017 at home.  He was born on July 22, 1965 in Erie, PA and graduated North East High School in 1984.  He was employed by Welch Food in North East as a press operator.  Eddie was a devoted Christian and enjoyed bowling, golf, and was a Denver Broncos fan.  He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Seth Baker, Sr.; and parents who raised and loved Eddie as their own, Bill and Mary Mosconi.  He is survived by his wife 16 years, Angela (DuFosse) Baker whom he married January 13, 2001; daughters, Hannah R. Baker and Andrea Hoyt both of North East; an aunt, Eleanor Kalvelage (Joe) of Erie; siblings, Deb Spencer of VA, Sue Dye (Dwaine) of North East, Gary Baker (Pam) of Pittsburgh, Kathy Baker of Pittsburg, Bobby Baker (Vicki) of Erie, Sam Spencer (Linda) of TN, and Dale Spencer of AZ; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Monday at 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm and are invited to attend a funeral on Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home.  Officiating the service is Rev. Rick Maas.  Private interment will be at Grahamville Cemetery. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.

I met Eddie in the late 90's when we both attended North Harbor Baptist Church. I remember how kind, funny, and full of life he was. I looked up to him. It is very sad to hear of his passing. My heartfelt prayers are with his family.
