Billy K. Kroneberg, age 73, of Harborcreek, died on Saturday September 16, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on January 6, 1944 in Cabot, PA the son of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Montag) Kroneberg.  Billy graduated Penn State University earning a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering.  He was an engineering professional with over 25 years of innovative design experience in electronics, power generation and conversion, and passenger rail transportation equipment.  Throughout his professional career he was employed at General Electric Transportation Systems, Morrison-Knudsen, New York Rail Car Corporation, Kroneberg Forest Products, Smith Meters, and Erie Technological Products where he supervised the development of thick film integrated circuit high voltage power supplies for the Apollo Lunar Lander and military night vision equipment.  Billy was a highly successful technical contributor in the field of electrical systems design and diagnostics.  He enjoyed woodworking, outdoors, trains, ham radio, and dogs.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Miles Kroneberg; and sister, Faye Kroneberg.  Billy is survived by his wife, Tondalea R. Kroneberg; daughters, Xena Van Dewark (Shawn) and Lisa K. Spitzer (Garrett); and grandchildren, William and Charlotte.  Friends are invited to call at the William D.
