Music by The Piano Brothers

Bill Wargula entered the presence of The King of Kings on April 30th, 2017, joining the multitudes from ages past who placed their confidence in Christ, and are eagerly awaiting the day when Jesus returns to this earth to “put things right,” to take up His rightful place as Lord and King, to raise us up with a new incorruptible physical body, to ordain us as managers of the New Heavens and New Earth that He will create, to walk freely among His People, and to reign forever in love, justice, and true “rightness.”
For nearly four decades, Bill’s ministry and passion in life was to bring the “Good News of Jesus and His Kingdom” to a lost and dying world. He was especially passionate about bringing this “Good News” to the people of Japan where he served as a missionary for nearly two decades.
Bill is survived by Nancy, his wife of over 30 years, whom he deeply loved from the core of his being, three adult children, Billy, Anna, and Carolyn, who brought him great joy and pride, a daughter-in-law, Oviett, who brought him nothing but delight, and a host of dear family and friends, who have meant so very much to him in this present age.

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Wednesday at 1:00 pm until time of a funeral service at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.  Interment Grahamville Cemetery.  Please send condolences to

Dear Nancy and the children,
My wife, Kumiko and I just heard from Karen about Bill's home-going. We appreciate his many years of contribution for the people of Japan.
It is sad to see him going forever on this earth. But we are thankful for God's promises to see him again in the presence of our LORD.
We remember Nancy and her children and uphold them in our prayers from Japan. May God fill you all with His Grace and Comfort. May the Spirit of Christ strengthen you.

Dear Nancy,

I just heard about Bill, and my heart aches for you and your children. I am so sorry! I have been praying for you all, and will continue to lift you up to our Lord.

May He comfort you in ways that only He can.

In His care,

P.S.: In case you don't remember me, you were one of my leaders in college at UWEC. You made an impact on my life and I am forever grateful.
