Mari Nicole Doyle King, age 35, of North East, died on Friday March 10, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on February 17, 1982 in Erie, PA to Mickey and Carol Smith Doyle of North East. She graduated North East High School; Mercyhurst University, obtaining an associates degree in marketing; and Great Lakes Medical Institute, obtaining a certification in phlebology. Mari was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, and also her dog, Misha. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary Doyle; maternal grandparents, Lafayette and Margaret Smith; and a cousin, Patrick Arthur Doyle, Jr. Mari is survived by her parents; husband, Damien King of Erie whom she married June 2, 2012; siblings, Kelly Burger (James) of Pittsburgh, Michael Doyle (Lucinda) of North East, Timothy Doyle of North East; in-laws, Mickey King of Erie and Everlean Wilson (Jerry) of Erie; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends are invited to call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend a prayer service on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Gregory Church. Interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Please send condolence to elkinfh.com.
