Paul L. Fisher, age 73, of North East, died on Monday January 4, 2016 at LECOM Senior Living Center.

He was born on March 25, 1942 to the late William and Esther Elizabeth Campbell Fisher.

Paul graduated North East High School in 1961 and was formerly employed as a store manager of V&V Appliance Parts in Erie.

He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross and the First Presbyterian Church in North East.

Paul was involved with Boy Scouts of America Troop 57  in North East and was a former cub master.

He enjoyed cooking, gardening, birds, and spending time with his dogs.

In addition to his parents,  he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Fisher and his brother, Timothy Fisher.

Paul is survived by his wife of 53 years Pauline Wagner Fisher whom he married October 13, 1962; children, Carol Fisher Weigle Henry of CA and Kevin Fisher (Stephanie) of North East; brother, Thomas M. Fisher (Theresa) of WA; grandchildren, Krissi and James Weigle and Alexander and Hannah Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Valencia and Ian Miller; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday at 11:00 am at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, 51 West Main Street, North East.   Private interment will be held at North East Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Community Nursing Services of North East, 7 Park Street, North East, PA 16428.

The Fisher family has always been a symbol of strength of faith despite many struggles over the years. I will always remember them as joyful despite circumstances.
