Lucille A. Sharman Fisher, age 91, of North East, died on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at Millcreek Community Hospital.

She was born on March 20, 1923 to the late Samuel and Lucille Shumaker Sharman.

Lucille loved children and owned and operated a day care center for over 30 years.

She enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments,  traveling, especially to Las Vegas, collecting butterfly jewelry, watching hummingbirds, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Fisher; a sister, Mary Lang; and brothers, Albert, Lyle, Samuel, William, and Lewis Sharman.

She is survived by her children, Darold  Fisher (Cathy) of Warsaw, NY, Bryon Fisher (Maureen) of Silver Springs, NY, Sherri Beebe of North East, Edward Fisher of North East, and David Fisher (Pat) of Wyoming, NY.;

a sister, Jean Howard of Perry, NY; brothers, Robert Sharman of Warsaw, NY and Richard Sharman (Donna) of Toano, VA; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday at 1:30 pm at the funeral home.  Officiating the service, Pastor Dan Cass.  Private interment Erie County Memorial Gardens.
