Bonnie J. Perrine Christman, age 69, of Findley Lake died Tuesday March 5, 2013 at her residence.

She was born in Erie, PA on March 25, 1943 to the late Carlton and Ruby Mae Kress Perrine.

Bonnie was a graduate of Clymer Central School and Brant Station Business Institute.

She was formerly employed as a secretary for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and for the United States Air Force in Germany.

Bonnie was an active member of the Findley Lake United Methodist Church where she was President of the United Methodist Women Association and also taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Daniel M. Christman, whom she married May 14, 1966; son, Mark Christman and wife Laine of Baltic, CT; brother, Randy Perrine and wife Linda of North East; sister, Brenda Hurne and husband Bill of Boyton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Haleigh Marie Christman and Connor Walter Christman.

Friends may call the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Findley Lake United Methodist Church, 2862 North Road, Findley Lake, NY 14736.  Officiating Rev. David Cooke.  Interment Grahamville Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Findley Lake United Methodist Church or charity of one’s choice.  Please send condolences to

Dan and Marc - I was so sorry to hear about Bonnie. She sure gave a good fight. We loved her and will miss her. Your family is in our prayers.
