Carol A. (Johnson) Palmerlee, 74, of North East passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her residence. She was born on December 11, 1946 in Salamanca, N.Y., the daughter of the late Paul and Beryl (Vetter) Johnson. Carol graduated from Ripley Central High School in 1965 and Jamestown Community College in 1967, where she obtained a degree in nursing. As a nurse, she was a loving and generous caregiver for the elderly throughout New York, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia and Pennsylvania. She enjoyed collecting sock monkeys, nutcrackers and was an avid reader. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Teddy Palmerlee; sons, Eric Palmerlee (Hilary) of Bennington, Vermont and Matthew Palmerlee of Savannah, Ga.; granddaughter, Iona Palmerlee; and sisters, Mary Sekercioglu of Muskegon, Mich. and Lynn Foster (Gary) of North East. Private funeral arrangements are being handled by the William D.
