Constance “Connie” Lada Malesiewski
Constance “Connie” Lada Malesiewski, age 86, died
on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at her residence in
West Middlesex, Pa. She formerly lived in North East,
Pa. for several years until moving, along with her
husband, to her daughter’s home
in West Middlesex, Pa. Connie was
born on December 28, 1931, in Erie,
Pennsylvania, to the late Frank and
Agnes Lada.
She graduated East High School
and formerly owned and operated
Connie’s Sidehill Antiques,
in North East, for several years.
Connie was a member of St. Gregory
Church in North East. She loved
antiques and garage sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved
husband, Stanley John Malesiewski on March 25, 2018;
a sister, Clara Markiewicz; brothers, Ed, Chester, Raymond,
and Frank Lada; and a great-granddaughter,
Ava Malesiewski.
Connie is survived by sons, Thomas Malesiewski
(Kathy) of North East, Mark Malesiewski (Ann) of
Millcreek, and Dan Malesiewski (Jill) of Maine;
daughters, Amy Malesiewski of North East and
Susan Creveling (Jeff) of West Middlesex; nine
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral
Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on
Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and are invited
to attend a prayer service on Thursday at 10 a.m.,
followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Gregory Church
at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at St. Gregory
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the North East
Community Food Pantry, 30 Bothel Street, North East,
PA 16428, or St. Gregory Church, 136 West Main Street,
North East, PA 16428.
