Michael Mitchell Fair, 76, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on December 24, 2020 at Heritage Park Health Care Center. He was born on April 8, 1944, in Erie, Pa., the son of the late Jack and Eleanor Maybell (Krayeski) Fair. He graduated from Clymer High School and proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a tactical aircraft maintenance technician during the Vietnam War. Mike was a retired pipeline operator after a long career with Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company. He was a member of the North East Masonic Lodge #399 and was an avid antique collector. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Frances (Legters) Fair; daughters, Stephanie Fair-Lo- renz (Christopher) of Telford, Pa., and Jessica Wilson (Bryan) of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandson, Mitchell; and sisters, Nancy Watrous (Rod) of Corry, and Patricia Kress (Rick) of Appleton, WI. Private funeral arrangements are being handled by the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Private interment will be held at Holland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
