Marylou Weinheimer Allen, age 84, of North East, died on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on December 7, 1933 in North East, PA the daughter of the late Theodore F. and Helen Steinwachs Weinheimer.  Marylou graduated from North East High School.  She, along with her husband Bill, was a self-employed grape farmer and originally owned and operated Delhurst Country Inn Restaurant & Store in North East.  She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed yard work.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Allen; a great-grandson, Bentley James; and a brother, Thomas Weinheimer.  Marylou is survived by her son, Terry Allen (Julie) of North East; daughter, Lori Durst (James) of North East; grandchildren, Kevin, Katie, Leslie, and Lindsey; and a geat-grandson, Logan James.  Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday from 2:00 pm until time of a funeral service at 5:00 pm.  Officiating the service is Rev. Rick Maas.  Private interment will be held at North East Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the VNA Hospice of Erie County, 2253 West Grandview Blvd, Erie, PA 16506.  Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
